It had been 25 since the end of the world. Stanford of the Scavengers wiped the nuclear grime off his forehead and pushed his yellow-tinted goggles back over his burnt face. Today was the day, he knew it. Stanford sifted lazily through the pile of dust and gore. Then he saw it- a flash of gold in a world of gray. Impulsively his greedy hands unearthed a rectangular object. Blue animal hide covered a few hundred leafs of golden-edged papers. Golden letters spelled out gibberish on the cover: THE HOLY BIBLE. Stanford sighed and threw it back into the filth.

I'm not saying the Bible isn't important. I'm using it as an example of something that most people would think has immense value. In this situation it is worthless.

I know. It's not the book itself it is the message inside which is important. Like if i was freaking cold i would use my bible for fire. It's just paper that just so happens to have meaning. Remember the bible is the most stolen book in the world. Which kind of defeats the point.
